Remove/Install Right Circulation Pump For Low-Temperature Circuit - AR09.41-P-6931SB

Engine 256 in model 223

WARNING Risk of injury  . Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove front lower right engine compartment lining. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Only install front lower right engine compartment lining after a leak test. AR61.20-P-1105S
2 Disconnect the coolant hoses and remove them from the coolant pump (M75/2). IMPORTANT Collect coolant that flows out. AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
    SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
    SPECIAL TOOL Clamp Fig 3
3 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
4 Remove screw (2), remove bracket (3) and remove coolant pump (M75/2). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, low-temperature circuit pump retaining bracket *BA20.10-P-1006-01MRT 
5 Install in the reverse order.    
  Concluding tasks     
6 Perform engine cooling system bleeding routine with diagnostic device.    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS   IMPORTANT This involves actuating the coolant pumps to remove residual air from the engine cooling system.
If the bleeding routine was not completed successfully:

Repeat bleeding routine of engine cooling system.

7 Check and, if necessary, correct the coolant level.    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AP20.30-P-2050P
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Perform engine test run; in this connection, check coolant pump (M75/2) for proper operation and leak tightness.
