| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector for exhaust gas flap controller (M16/54) and unclip electric line. | ||
| 5 | Detach right rear muffler (1r) from elastomer bearing (3r). | ||

| 6 | Detach right rear exhaust system (1r) from elastomer bearings (4r) and remove. | ||

| 7 | Check elastomer bearings (3r, 4r) for damage and wear. | If there are problems: ↓ Replace corresponding elastomer bearing (3r, 4r). |

| 8 | Remove combustion and corrosion residue at connecting points. | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 10 | Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system and correct if necessary. | ||
| Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. | Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself.
