	Remove
1	Remove charge-air distributor.		AR09.41-P-8683SB
2	Drain off coolant.		AR20.00-P-1142SB
3	Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter.		AR09.10-P-8130SB
4	Remove the vacuum line for the brake booster and seal the openings with suitable protective covers.	Engine 256.9 in model 223 with code M016 (Uprated engine) except code 200 (Conditionally automated driving) except code 503 (Remote-controlled parking)	AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ

5	Loosen screw clamp (3).
6	Remove charge air pressure/temperature sensor (B159/1).		AR09.41-P-2011SB
7	Remove the charge air line (1) with boot (4) by moving it forward and seal the opening on the check valve (6) with a suitable protective cover.	Set of protective covers	Fig 2
8	Loosen the screw clamp (3) and remove the boot (4) for the charge air line (1).
	Install
9	Attach a new boot (4) to the charge air line (1).	Wet the inside area of the new boot (4) with lubricant. Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
10	Check the sealing ring for the charge air line (1) and replace if necessary; wet with lubricant.	Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 L	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A

11	Remove the protective cover on the check valve (6) and push the boot (4) onto the check valve (6) as far as it will go.	Set of protective covers	Fig 2
12	Position the mark (arrow) on the new boot (4) in line with the mark on the check valve (6).
13	Tighten screw clamp (3).	Screw clamp, boot between charge air lines	*BA09.41-P-1009-01MRT
14	Tighten screw (5).	Screw/bolt, charge air line to chain case cover	*BA09.41-P-1002-01MRT
15	Tighten screw clamp (2).	Screw clamp, boot between charge air lines	*BA09.41-P-1009-01MRT
16	Install the charge air pressure/temperature sensor (B159/1).		AR09.41-P-2011SB
17	Remove the protective covers and connect the coolant line to the partition.		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
