The panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit (1) opens and closes the roller sunblind of the panoramic sliding sunroof and is located on the front roof frame.

The panoramic sliding sunroof control unit actuates the panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit (1).

Function 

The following component parts are integrated in the panoramic sliding sunroof roller sunblind drive unit (1):

• 2 Hall sensors (position and speed detection)
• Roller sunblind motor (drive of reversing gear)
• Redirecting transmission (conversion of the rotary movement into linear movement of the drive spindle)
