	Remove/install
1.1	Loosen edge guard (5) in area of corresponding C pillar trim (3).	Model 223.0/1 Ensure that edge guard (5) is seated properly.
1.2	Remove corresponding side window frame lining.	Model 223.9

2	Remove left or right head restraint in rear passenger compartment.	Model 223 except code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) except code 224 (Individual rear seats)	AR91.16-P-1770S

3	Unclip cover trim (1) from top to bottom, slide upwards, and remove.	Model 223 with code 540 (Electric roller blind for rear window) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)

4	Unclip guide rail (2) from the C-pillar trim (3) and fold in to center (arrow).	Model 223 with code 540 (Electric roller blind for rear window) except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)

6.1	Unclip C-pillar trim (3) and remove in direction of travel.	[Model 223 except code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)
