Remove/Install Longitudinal Member Paneling - AR88.80-P-6000S

| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Detach underfloor paneling in the area of the longitudinal member panel (1) and pull it downward over the mounting bolts. | AR61.30-P-1001S | |
| 2 | Remove expansion rivets (2). | ||
| 3 | Remove nut (3). | ||
| 4 | Turn retaining clips (4) 90° and remove. | ||
| 5 | Open front door. | ||
| 6 | Open rear door. | ||
| 7 | Mask off rear door in the bottom area with tape. | ||
| 8 | Mask off longitudinal member panel (1) and body in the area of the retaining clip (7) with tape. | ||
| 9 | Unclip retaining clip (7) with a suitable screwdriver from the rear fender and secure longitudinal member panel (1) against engaging again with a long wedge. | Fig 1 | |
| 10 | Starting at the rear, unclip longitudinal member panel (1) from the mounting strips (5, 6) horizontally at the catch hooks (1.1, 1.2) with an extraction hook and remove it. | Fig 2 | |
| 11 | Remove remaining retaining clip on the vehicle (7) and attach it to longitudinal member panel (1). | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
