	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
	General information on checking/correcting headlamp adjustment		AH82.10-P-1000-01A
	Prepare vehicle for check
1	Start engine.	The engine must run until the headlamp adjustment is complete.
2	Bring suspension to normal level.
	Drive vehicle onto headlamp adjustment station
3	Position vehicle with front wheel left in direction of travel (05) at start of approach line (06) and parallel to approach line (06).
4	Drive vehicle forward with front wheel left in direction of travel (05) exactly along approach line (06).	The front wheel left in direction of travel (05) must always run at the same distance to the approach line (06) over the entire start-off distance (6.7 - 9 m) (A). This is the only way in which the geometric driveline axis of the vehicle will be aligned exactly with the light box of the adjustment device (01) guided on the guide rails (04) and correct headlamp check or headlamp adjustment is possible. The vehicle must  be correctly aligned on the headlamp adjustment station and the steering must be in the straight-ahead position. Otherwise, it is not possible to check/correct the headlamp adjustment. The distance of the rear axle to the approach line (06) is ignored due to the effects of different track widths on the front and rear axle, mixed tires and/or the drive line angle.
	Bring suspension into tight tolerance range
5	Call up workshop level in the instrument cluster.	The multifunction display (4) shows the Workshop menu with the tabs: "Vehicle data", "Dynamometer test", "Remote functions", "Change brake pad", "ASSYST PLUS", "Air spring" (depending on equipment installed), "Head-up-display" (depending on equipment installed). The workshop level must only be ended after completion of the entire check/correct headlamp adjustment process.	AP00.20-P-0046D
6	Select "Air spring" menu item in the multifunction display (4) using swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) and confirm.
7	Select "Light adjustment" in the multifunction display (4) using swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) and confirm.
8	Select "Start air spring tight tolerance range" in the multifunction display (4) using swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) and confirm.	The tolerance range of the vehicle level is reduced to ±4 mm. If the vehicle is outside of this window, it is automatically driven into the tolerance range. The function is deactivated again in the next driving operation.
