| 1 | Connect diagnostic unit and read out data for takeover. | If the tablet cradle (A105/6) is replaced. | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove tablet PC (A105/7) from tablet cradle (A105/6). | ||
| 4 | Fold armrest (1) upward. | ||
| 5 | Unclip trim (2) from armrest (1) and remove. | Fig 1 | |
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connection (3). | ||
| 7 | Unclip electrical plug of electrical wiring harness (4) from armrest (1) and expose electrical wiring harness (4). | ||
| 8 | Remove bolts (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove screws (6). | ||
| 10 | Lift up tablet cradle (A105/6) far enough until electrical connector (7) is accessible. | ||
| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (7) and remove tablet cradle (A105/6). | ||
| 12 | Install clamps (arrows) into new tablet cradle (A105/6). | When replacing tablet cradle (A105/6). |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 14 | Commission tablet cradle (A105/6). | If the tablet cradle (A105/6) was replaced. | |
