General 

Using a camera, the hand motion sensor detects hand movements made by the vehicle occupants and turns them into operation signals for vehicle functions.

The front hand motion sensor is located in the overhead control panel.

The rear hand motion sensor is located in the rear area in the headliner.

Function requirements 

• Circuit 30t on.
• The gesture recognition system is activated.

Function 

The movements recorded by the hand motion sensor are converted into an electrical signal and evaluated by the hand motion sensor control unit, which triggers vehicle functions in accordance with the movements.
