	Remove/install
1	Commission left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9).	If left headlamp control unit (E1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2n9) is replaced.	AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
		2D Hand scanner	Fig 2
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
3.1	Remove front section of fender liner in front right or left fender.	Model 167 with engine 256 Model 167 with engine 264 Model 167 with engine 654 except code U79 (BLUETEC (SCR) diesel exhaust treatment, generation 3)	AR88.10-P-1301ME
3.2	Remove front section of the fender liner in the front right fender.	Model 167 with engine 654 with code U79 (BLUETEC (SCR) diesel exhaust treatment, generation 3) Only on right side of vehicle.	AR88.10-P-1301ME
3.3	Remove left front lamp unit (E1) and/or right front lamp unit (E2).	Model 167 with engine 177 Model 167 with engine 656	AR82.10-P-4733ME
3.4	Remove front left lamp unit (E1).	Model 167 with engine 654 with code U79 (BLUETEC (SCR) diesel exhaust treatment, generation 3) Only on left side of vehicle.	AR82.10-P-4733ME
4	Unscrew screw/bolts (1).
5	Remove headlamp control unit (E1n9 or E2n9) until the electrical connectors are accessible.
6	Release and disconnect electrical connectors from headlamp control unit (E1n9 or E2n9).
7	Install in the reverse order.
