Remove/Install Rear Door Liner - AR72.12-P-1011ME

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move down corresponding side window of the rear door.    
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
3 Using long wedge, release cover (2) from door trim (1) on driver's side and/or front passenger side and remove downwards. SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
4 Remove screw/bolts (3).    
5 Unclip door trim (1) starting from the bottom and pull out of the inner sealing rail (4). INSTALLATION NOTES
Ensure that the retaining clips are seated correctly on the door trim (1).
They will be damaged otherwise.
 
6 Guide door pin (5) out of the door trim (1). Model 167 except code 297 (Roller sun blinds in rear doors)  
7 Lift door trim (1) until the electrical connectors (6) are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
 
8 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors (6) varies depending on the vehicle equipment.  
9 Unhook wire of the inside door opener (8). IMPORTANT Install new crown clip on the inside door opener (8).  
10 Unclip electrical wiring harness from the door trim (1).    
11 Remove door trim (1).    
INSPECT Check     
12 Check retaining clips of the door trim (1) for damage. If the retaining clips are damaged,
 
    Replace retaining clip.  
13 Install in the reverse order.
