| 1 | Open hood. | ||
| 2 | Beginning at the bottom, unclip front drip rail (1), lift up, and pull out of the rear drip rail (6) in the direction of travel. | Carefully unclip the front drip rail (1). Otherwise, the front drip rail (1) will be damaged. |

| 3 | Unclip the rear drip rail (6) along the roof frame and place on a suitable mat. | Carefully unclip the rear drip rail (6). Otherwise, the rear drip rail (6) may be permanently deformed and must be replaced. |

| 4 | Check the retaining clamps (2) and the retaining clip (3) for damage and to ensure that they are seated correctly. | If damaged, ↓ Replace affected retaining clamps (2) and retaining clip (3). |

| 5 | Check retaining clamps (7) for any damage and to see if they are seated correctly. | If damaged, ↓ Replace affected retaining clips (7). |

| 6 | Check retaining tab (4) and guides (5) for damage. | If damaged, ↓ Replace front drip rail (1). |

| Install | |||
| 7 | Position the retaining clamps (7) for the rear drip rail (6) on the holder (8) on the roof. | ||
| 8 | Clip the rear drip rail (6) beginning in the rear. | ||
| 9 | Insert the front drip rail (1) with the retaining tab (4) into the rear drip rail (6) and clip in below in the direction of travel. | ||
| 10 | Close hood. |
