DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  due to fan starting unexpectedly Do not reach into the rotation or hazard area of the fan. Wear closed and close-fitting work clothes. AS20.40-Z-0001-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove all detachable parts in repair area.    
2 Remove screw (2) on left and right. TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, assembly carrier at top to body *BA62.30-P-1007-02O 
3 Remove screw/bolts (3). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace screw/bolts (3). After performing fitting work, always tighten the center screw (3) first, then the outer screws.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, impact absorber/mounting support to longitudinal member		 *BA62.30-P-1002-02O 
4 Remove screw (4) on left and right. TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, assembly carrier at bottom to mounting support *BA62.30-P-1008-02O 
5 Remove front crossmember (1a) together with front reinforcement (1b).    
6 Remove bolts_(7). Model 118.3/6

7 Remove front supports (1c) from front crossmember (1a). Model 118.3/6

8 Remove bolts (5).    
Notice  Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process   AH00.00-P-0020-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, impact absorber to cross member *BA62.30-P-1001-02O 
9 Remove front crossmember (1a).    
10 Remove support (6).    
11 Remove front reinforcement (1b).    
12 Remove support (8).    
13 Install in the reverse order.    
14 Fit front module with front reinforcement (1b). IMPORTANT Remove bumper after adjustment work.
IMPORTANT Tighten the center screw (3) first, then the outer screws.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, assembly carrier at top to body		 *BA62.30-P-1007-02O 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, impact absorber/mounting support to longitudinal member *BA62.30-P-1002-02O 
15 Adjust gap dimensions on lamp units and the bumper. Model 118.3/6 Engine hood to bumper *BE60.00-P-1001-01NA 
    Model 118.3/6 Engine hood to fender *BE60.00-P-1002-01NA 
    Model 118.3/6 Headlamp top to bumper *BE60.00-P-1003-01NA 
    Model 118.3/6 Headlamp front to bumper *BE60.00-P-1004-01NA 
    Model 118.3/6 Headlamp bottom to bumper *BE60.00-P-1005-01NA 
    Model 247.0/6/7 Engine hood to bumper *BE60.00-P-1001-01MA 
    Model 247.0/6/7 Engine hood to fender *BE60.00-P-1002-01MA 
    Model 247.0/6/7 Headlamp front to bumper *BE60.00-P-1003-01MA

16 Apply wax at connections to body. After adjustment operations and when removing/installing parts of the front module with front reinforcement (1b).
