The following special tool is required: 2x parallel gauge.

When ordering the special tool parallel gauge please note that the scope of supply only includes one special tool.

To check the correct installation position of the dual clutch (5) a digital vernier caliper (02) is required.

Position parallel gauges (01) onto coupling housing (27K).
Position digital vernier caliper (02) onto parallel gauges (01) and then make zero position adjustment relative to coupling housing (27K).

Make sure that the digital vernier caliper (02) is absolutely vertical to the contact surface on the coupling housing (27K).
Measure height between parallel gauges (01) and the thrust bearing (4) of the dual clutch (5).

The shim must not be installed during the measurement. Make sure that the digital vernier caliper (02) is absolutely vertical to the measurement surface on the thrust bearing (4).
Perform measurement at two additional positions and calculate the mean value.
Compare actual value of dual clutch (5) with specified value.
If the actual value is below or above the specified value,

remove dual clutch (5) and rectify the causes.
