General
The clutch oil pressure sensors (1, 2) detect the oil pressure of the inner and outer clutch of the dual-clutch transmission. They are located in the lower area on the front side of the dual-clutch transmission.
Function
The hydraulic pressure of the transmission oil is applied to a diaphragm. The mechanical tension in the diaphragm is measured and output as an analog output signal. The oil pressure recorded for the respective clutch is continuously forwarded to the dual-clutch transmission control unit and it serves as a basis for calculation of the clutch actuator's pump speed.
