Due to an express customer request as of..... the function of the Side Airbag and the seat occupied recognition (SBE) on the passenger-side have been deactivated. There is an increased risk of injury for occupants due to this measure. There may, in particular, be
- no activation of the Side Airbag,
- no automatic deactivation of the front passenger airbag, when the front passenger seat is not occupied and,
- no 2-stage deployment of the front passenger airbag
as a consequence.
This is expressly pointed out to the customer who undertakes likewise to inform other users of the vehicle.

Exclusion of liability, exemption and measures
- I hereby renounce all claims against Daimler AG, its associated subsidiaries and its sales partners, which arise - directly or indirectly-as a result of the modifications listed above and the associated increased risk of injury.
- I hereby release Daimler AG from all third-party claims and indemnification as stated under (1).
- Furthermore, I hereby commit myself to:
- Ensuring that
- the above-separated specification is always kept with the operator's manual and
- The user/purchaser of the vehicle are informed about this; and
- That any changes are immediately registered in the vehicle documents; and
- To inform the user/purchaser of the vehicle about the modification and the increased risk of injury associated with that.
