Remove/Install Starter - AR15.30-P-7100MFC

Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove air filter housing.   AR09.10-P-1150MFC
2 Remove battery carrier.   AR54.10-P-0028MFA
3 Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) at starter (M1).    
4 Remove cover above nut (2).    
5 Unscrew nut (2) and remove electric line for circuit 30 from starter (M1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, connection for terminal designation 30 *BA15.30-P-1001-01J 
6 Remove screw/bolts (3). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, starter to crankcase/transmission *BA15.30-P-1003-01J 
7 Remove starter (M1).    
INSPECT Check     
8 Check pinion of starter (M1) for damage and wear. If the starter (M1) is reused.
If wear or damage is detected:

Replace starter (M1).
 
9 Check ring gear on flywheel/drive plate for wear and damage. IMPORTANT Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation.
If wear or damage is detected:

Replace flywheel/drive plate.

10 Install in the reverse order.
