Check Regulator And Alternator - AR15.40-P-5000MFG

WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
INSPECT Check     
1 Check condition of on-board electrical system battery (G1). If there are problems,

Replace on-board electrical system battery (G1).

2 Connect diagnostic system (0100) to diagnostics connection (X11/4x1).    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
3 Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature (approx. 80°C).    
4 Check alternator (G2) and regulator with vehicle diagnosis system (0100). If there are problems,

Replace alternator (G2).

5 Switch off engine.    
6 Disconnect vehicle diagnosis system (0100).    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
