Check Regulator And Alternator - AR15.40-P-5000MFC

INSPECT Check     
1 Check starter battery (G1) for status. If a problem is identified,

Replace starter battery (G1).

2 Attach diagnostic system (0100) to the diagnostics connection (X11/4x1).    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
3 Start engine and warm up to normal operating temperature (approx. 80°C).    
4 Check alternator (G2) and regulator with vehicle diagnosis system (0100). If a problem is identified,

Replace alternator (G2).

5 Switch off engine.    
6 Disconnect vehicle diagnosis system (0100).    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
