General 

The time-controlled shutoff function has the task of deactivating functions after certain time intervals. The function is controlled by the signal acquisition and actuation module.

Function 

The signal acquisition and actuation module switches off the following seat climate control functions automatically on a timed basis:

• Seat heater
• Seat ventilation

Timer control is carried out depending on the set stage:

• Heating level/seat ventilation level 3 is active for 8 min. The seat climate control then switches automatically to stage 2.
• Heating level/seat ventilation level 2 is active for 10 min. The seat climate control then switches automatically to stage 1.
• Heating level/seat ventilation level 1 is active for 20 min. The seat climate control then switches off automatically.

The timer control of the three levels can be adjusted using the diagnosis tester.
