DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

INSPECT Check     
1 Raise vehicle.   AR00.60-P-1006A
2 Stretch boot (1) by turning steering to maximum steering angle and check for damage (cracks, holes, chafe marks and indentations). NOTES
Do not check the boot (1) by pressing in or around the raised bead.
Otherwise damage and leakage will occur.
If the boot (1) is damaged,

replace boot (1).
