IMPORTANT As of model 172 the concept for contacting electrical ground connections to the body has been altered. All body ground connections are covered-up in the production process with a coat of paint.

IMPORTANT: IMPORTANT Only the newly developed paint-scraping nut (2) may be used for threaded ground connections. This is to establish an electrically conductive connection to the body through a painted ground connection in a process-consistent way. The paint is worn away when the paint-scraping nut (2) is screwed on. This enables an electrical connection to be made between the outer thread of the ground connection and the inside thread of the paint-scraping nut (2).

The use of other nuts that deviate from the specified paint-chafing nut (2) (e.g. for retrofits, repairs) may lead to a complaint.

IMPORTANTThe following should still be observed:
