When compared to the predecessor, the new CLA-Class is larger with regard to the vehicle length and wheelbase. The leads to improved spaciousness and comfort in the vehicle interior and a larger trunk capacity.
The length, width, height and wheelbase have, in particular, increased in comparison to the predecessor in the new CLA-Class. The track width at the front and rear has been enlarged to further improve the vehicle dynamics of the new CLA-Class in comparison to the preceding series.
The larger vehicle length and the larger wheelbase elongate the vehicle, stand for greater sportiness, and improve vehicle access in the rear passenger compartment.
