Maintenance Strategy - SN00.00-P-0080-08G
Model 118.3
The new CLA-Class is subject to maintenance according to the new maintenance logic. The maintenance scopes, in particular of service A and service B, were recompiled according to process-related and vehicle-related criteria. The annual maintenance cost fluctuations are thus significantly reduced.
The fixed maintenance interval of 25, 000 km (15, 500 miles) or 12 months (Economic Commission for Europe (ECE)) and possible country-specific kilometer intervals are retained however. Furthermore, service A and service B continue to apply in turn as well as a "PLUS package" that can be freely selected by the customer.
Motor
Model series 118 will be available with the following engine variants at market launch:
- M260, 4-cylinder inline spark-ignition engine with 2.0 l displacement
- M282, 4-cylinder inline spark-ignition engine with 1.4 l displacement and cylinder shutoff
- OM608, 4-cylinder inline diesel engine with 1.5 l displacement
- OM654, 4-cylinder inline diesel engine with 2.0 l displacement
During the engine oil and oil filter change, the engine oil is drained via a drain screw in the oil pan. The engine oil level is called up via the instrument cluster.
Transmission
In addition to the further developed manual transmission FSG310, the model series also has the dual-clutch transmission 7F-DCT as well as the dual-clutch transmission new developments 7G-DCT (7-speed) and 8G-DCT (8-speed).
