Remove/Install Rear Spoiler - AR88.30-P-0500MFE

CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove trunk lid trim.   AR68.30-P-8151MFV
2 Remove nuts (2).    
3 Guide rear spoiler (1) out of trunk lid and place onto suitable surface.    
INSTALLING Install     
4 Drill holes ø 6 mm in trunk lid with corresponding template and countersink. When replacing trunk lid.
NOTES
Drill holes before painting trunk lid.
Otherwise, corrosion occurs.
IMPORTANT Procure template separately from XENTRY Parts Information.
 
5 Remove protective films of new brackets (3). When replacing trunk lid.  
6.1 Place rear spoiler (1) onto trunk lid and secure against falling down. When installing rear spoiler (1).  
6.2 Position brackets (3) and rear spoiler (1) together on trunk lid. When replacing trunk lid.
IMPORTANT Aid of helper required.
 
7 Position holders (3) on threads of rear spoiler (1) and press onto trunk lid. When replacing trunk lid.
IMPORTANT Ensure that brackets (3) have been guided, as shown, through trunk lid (arrow A).
 
8 Install nuts (2). NOTES
Retighten nuts (2) when replacing trunk lid on following day.
The rear spoiler (1) may otherwise work loose.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, rear spoiler to trunk lid

9 Install trunk lid trim.   AR68.30-P-8151MFV
