	Remove/install
1	Perform commissioning of the stationary heater.	When replacing stationary heater unit (A6).

3	Slowly unscrew cap of coolant expansion reservoir and reduce overpressure.
4	Remove front right wheel and tire assembly.		AR40.10-P-1102MFA
5	Remove front section of the fender liner in the front right fender.		AR88.10-P-1301MFA
6	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1) and unclip from cable bracket of stationary heater unit (A6).	Dismantling tool	Fig 2
7	Open clamp (2), detach fuel hose (3) from fuel line (4) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs.	: Replace clamp (2). Check that fuel line (4) is correctly seated. Pliers for click clamps	Fig 6

9	Open hose clamps (5), detach coolant hoses (6) and seal openings with protective covers.	Collect the discharged coolant in a suitable container. Set of protective covers	Fig 3

12	Pull stationary heater unit (A6) at rear out of holder (9) and remove stationary heater unit (A6).	: The stationary heater unit (A6) must enter correctly with the guide (10) into the bracket (9). Otherwise, there may be damage at the stationary heater unit (A6).
13	Remove all detachable parts of stationary heater unit (A6).	When replacing stationary heater unit (A6). Hose clamp pliers	Fig 4

14	Install in the reverse order.
15	Carry out function check of stationary heater.	If the stationary heater unit (A6) switches off automatically before reaching its operating temperature and cannot be restarted again a malfunction interlock is present. If a fault interlock is present. ↓ Rectify fault interlock with vehicle diagnosis system.
