Remove/Install AC Condenser - AR83.30-P-6540MFG

DANGER Risk of fire  due to ignition of R1234yf refrigerant on hot components. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with escaped R1234yf refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts. Risk of explosion  due to formation of ignitable refrigerant/air mixtures Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid R134a refrigerant and when working on pressurized parts Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove receiver drier.   AR83.30-P-6521MFG 
2 Remove air ductings (9).    
3 Remove screws (4) and remove holder (6). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
4 Remove screws (7) and remove holder (8). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
5 Unscrew screw (14). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
6 Remove screws (3) and remove crossmember (2). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Replace screw/bolts (3).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, impact absorber/absorber to crossmember *BA62.30-P-1001-02O 
7 Remove air duct segment (5).    
8 Secure additional cooler against falling down. IMPORTANTCommercially available devices/tools 
Tensioning strap
 
9 Remove brackets (10).    
10 Remove refrigerant lines (13) from condenser (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs and protective covers.    
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Compressor oils (specification 362.1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Install new seals and wet with compressor oil. BB00.40-P-0362-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, refrigerant line to condenser *BA83.30-P-1007-01T 
    SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of protective covers Fig 2
11 Remove screws (11).    
12 Unclip refrigerant lines (12).    
13 Remove condenser (1) with refrigerant lines (12).    
14 Remove refrigerant lines (12) from condenser (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs or protective covers. When replacing condenser (1).  
REFER TO CAPACITIES & SPECIFICATIONS Compressor oils (specification 362.1) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Install new seals and wet with compressor oil. BB00.40-P-0362-01A
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, refrigerant line to condenser *BA83.30-P-1007-01T 
    SPECIAL TOOL Set of protective covers Fig 2
    SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 3
15 Install in the reverse order.
