	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.
			AP01.10-P-2405-01K
2	Unclip cable duct (1) and set aside.
3	Unclip engine air intake duct (2) upstream of the air filter (arrows) and remove.
4	Remove the engine hood catch.		AR88.40-P-3201MFA
5	Release and disconnect the electrical connector (3) of the fan unit (4).
6	Unclip cable ties (9) and set electric lines aside.

8	Remove screws (5) of the refrigerant line (6).	Engine 139 in model 118.354/654, 177.054, 247.754 except code 051 (YoM 20/2)
9	Remove nut (11).	Engine 139 in model 118.354/654, 177.054, 247.754 except code 051 (YoM 20/2) Screw/nut, refrigerant line to refrigerant line	*BA83.30-P-1012-01T
10	Disconnect refrigerant line (12), seal openings with suitable stop plugs and place to one side.	Engine 139 in model 118.354/654, 177.054, 247.754 except code 051 (YoM 20/2)
	Compressor oils (specification 362.1)	: Install new seals and wet with compressor oil.	BB00.40-P-0362-01A

11	Unclip line (13) at fan unit (4) and place to one side.	Separating line (13) from coolant expansion reservoir is not required.
12	Remove front engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105MFR
13	Release catches (15) from fan unit (4) on lower coolant radiator.
14	Remove left and right bracket (F) from fan unit (4).	Pull release tabs (D) on left and right (arrow E) and remove left and right brackets (F) from fan unit (4) (arrow G).
15	Release retaining clamps (7) from the top of the fan unit (4) and push the fan unit (4) toward the rear slightly (arrow A).
16	Pull fan unit (4) upward out of upper holders (8) and remove (arrow B).	: Ensure fan unit (4) is correctly seated in lower holders (F) and upper brackets (8).
17	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
18	Perform engine test run and check fan unit (4) for proper operation.
