- Place panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) onto body.
Helper required.
- Align panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) on the left and right side of the vehicle in relation to the front roof rack mounts (9) according to the dimensions (A and B) determined during removal.
Do not move vehicle for at least 10 h after gluing in the panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8).
The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.
Observe installation position of windshield seal (10).
- Tighten nuts (5) of the basic carrier (7).
- Install electrical wiring harnesses (6).
- Position left and right stepped wedges (3) and tighten with screws (4).
The height of adhesive bead must be 3 mm when installed.
- Position left and right mounting support (1) and tighten with the screws (2).
- Place weights on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) during curing time of adhesive material.
Use flat weights, e.g. sandbags.
The panoramic sliding sunroof frame (8) will otherwise be damaged.
- Remove rags for protecting the front roller sunblind.
