NOTE:
After repairing the cause of the four wheel drive (4WD) system faults, the engine must be started in order to clear the 4X4 control module DTCs.

| B1342 | ECU is Defective | 4X4 Control Module | CLEAR DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. If DTC B1342 is retrieved, INSTALL a new 4X4 control module. REFER to 4X4 Control Module . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. |
| B1355 | Ignition RUN Circuit Failure | 4X4 Control Module | CHECK smart junction box (SJB) fuse 35 (10A) for an open. If the fuse is blown, go to Pinpoint Test I . If missing, INSTALL a new fuse. TEST the system for normal operation. |
