RP 212F - Industry Recommended Practice For Retreading Truck And Bus Tires: Introduction

The tire retreading industry serves a vital purpose in the recycling of worn tires. Through recycling, valuable natural resources are conserved and the economic function of tires is prolonged. To enhance public and industry safety and efficiency in the retreading of light truck, and medium- and heavy-duty truck and bus tires, the Tread Rubber and Tire Repair Material Manufacturers' Group (TRMG), with the assistance of the Tire Industry Association (TIA), has developed a set of industry RPs for tire retreading and tire repairing.

TMC has adapted these best practices with permission and published them as TMC RP 212F.
