Wheel Well Complete Replacement - Ar62.20-P-1200MFA

DANGER The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion  from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning  from inhaling welding gases Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove detachable parts in area of repair point.    
2 Cover all detachable parts remaining in vehicle with spark protection blanket.    
3 Set up straightening bench with straightening bench support members and straightening set.

4 Place vehicle on straightening bench and fasten.    
5 Remove upper front longitudinal member.   AR62.20-P-1286MFA

9 Install upper front longitudinal member.   AR62.20-P-1286MFA 
10 Release vehicle from straightening bench, lift and remove straightening bench.    
11 Clean weld joints and sheet metal flange.    
12 Remove spark protection blankets.    
13 Clean repair area.    
DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by paint vapors igniting. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling paint vapors. No smoking! No open fire! Use respiratory protection, protective clothing, gloves, safety glasses and protective skin cream. Ensure that the area is well ventilated. AS98.00-Z-0002-01A
14 Prime repair areas with a primer filler.   AH98.00-P-9408-02A

15 Install drainage fitting (2). IMPORTANT The drainage fitting (2) must audibly engage in the corresponding cutout in the air/water duct (3).  
16 Coat hatched area between the drainage fitting (2) and air/water duct (3) with silicone sealing compound. NOTES The gap between the drainage fitting (2) and air/water duct (3) must be closed with sealing compound.
Otherwise, electrical component parts underneath could be damaged by the ingress of moisture.
