Check Brake Forces Of Service Brake - Ar42.10-D-5000TS

Model 907 (except 907.8) 

  Risk of death  caused by limbs being caught or crushed by rotating parts when performing tests on the brake test stand Never leave the vehicle unattended on the rollers except in an emergency. Ensure that no one is under the vehicle or near rotating parts during testing. In case of emergency, use the EMERGENCY OFF switch to shut down test stand. AS42.00-Z-0001-01A

INSPECT Check     
1 Mount pedal force meter onto brake pedal.    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 05 21 00 Roller brake test stand IMPORTANT Observe manufacturer's operating instructions. WS42.00-P-0006B
2 Drive vehicle onto roller brake test stand.    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 05 21 00 Roller brake test stand IMPORTANT Do not switch off engine. WS42.00-P-0006B
3 Gradually apply specified test forces to the brake pedal, and compare the brake force reached on each axle against the reference values. NOTES
Reference values must be reached.
Otherwise, the specifications for the legally prescribed minimum deceleration will not be met.
Model 907 (except 907.8), Reference values for pedal force in accordance with manufacturer's specifications reference value method
If reference values are not achieved,

determine causes and rectify.
IMPORTANT Subject to separate repair order.

4 Drive the vehicle off the roller brake test stand.    
5 Operate parking brake.    
6 Switch off engine.    
7 Remove pedal force meter.
