Service Information: Modified Brake Caliper Supports - Si42.15-D-0004SG

Model 907 

We would like to hereby notify you of an important change to the brake caliper supports. Please note the following documents:

BT42.10-D-0222-01TS  "Front axle brake caliper support changed"  for model 907 with and without code IT5 (5.0 tonnes).

BT42.10-D-0221-01TS  "Rear axle brake caliper support changed"  for model 907 with code IT5 (5.0 tonnes)

For production-related reasons, the brake caliper support of the front axle  (model 907)and the brake caliper support of the rear axle  (model 907 with code IT5 (5.0 tonnes)) have been changed.

This also results in changes to the installation depth of the screws as well as a change to the brake caliper guide. When replacing the brake caliper support, it is essential to check the respective, previously installed version of the installed brake caliper support.

If the assignment is incorrect, correct attachment of the brake caliper via the brake caliper guide on the brake caliper support using screws is no longer possible.

This results in malfunctions in the brake system or failure of the brake system. If a brake caliper support or a brake caliper is replaced, then the brake caliper guide in the respective version must also be replaced.
