	Check automatic reversing function in closing direction
1	Park vehicle on level surface, operate parking brake and switch on ignition.	Battery voltage at least 12 V.
2	Using the test equipment, check the automatic reversing function during the closing process at test points (A to D).	To do so, open sliding door using door button (1) and close again.
	Testing supplies for door reversing system	The sliding door must move back to the opening position. If the sliding door does not move back to the opening position, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.	WF58.50-D-7240-01TS
3	Close sliding door using door button (1).
	Check automatic reversing function in opening direction
4	Hold sliding door firmly during opening procedure.	Open sliding door using door button (1). The sliding door must remain stationary. If the sliding door does not remain stationary, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
5	Close sliding door using door button (1).
	Check interior emergency release
6	With sliding door closed, pull emergency release lever (6) in downward direction until it engages.	With the ignition switched on and the emergency release actuated, a warning tone is activated.
7	Open sliding door by hand.	If sliding door cannot be opened by hand, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
8	Close sliding door by hand.
9	Push retainer (4) and move back emergency release lever (6).
10	Fit a new lead seal (5).	If the vehicle is outside Germany, the valid regulations of the relevant country must be observed.
	Check exterior emergency release
11	Pull emergency release lever (3) in upward direction until it engages.	If the driver's door is locked, the emergency release lever (3) is blocked.
12	Open sliding door by hand.	If sliding door cannot be opened by hand, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
13	Close sliding door by hand.
14	Push retainer (2) and move back emergency release lever (3).
	Check locking of sliding door while vehicle is in motion
15	Move vehicle at a speed of approx. 10 km/h.	Only perform the test on cordoned-off site, not on public roads. No persons should be located in the area of the sliding door during the test.
16	Operate door button (1).	The sliding door must remain closed. If the sliding door opens, ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
