Depending on the customer request, the following must be taken into consideration: The retrofit of the top tie-down rails (1) is permissible only in combination with the retrofit of the center tie-down rails (2).

Mark bore holes for the center tie-down rail (2).

Position center tie-down rail (2) flush with the edges (arrows) of the bottom side wall trims (6) and mark bore holes.

Helper required.

Use holes of the center tie-down rail (2) for marking the bore holes.
Mark bore holes for the top tie-down rail (1).
If the center tie-down rails (2) are attached and the top tie-down rails (1) are also desired.

Position top tie-down rail (1), parallel to the roof edge (arrow C) as shown and mark bore holes.

Observe dimension (A).

Position top tie-down rail (1) flush with the edges (arrows) of the top side wall trims (6) and mark bore holes.

Helper required.

Use top holes of the tie-down rail (1) for marking the bore holes.
Drill bore holes (5) for the center tie-down rail (2) in inside part of sidewall.
Drill bore holes (5) with a diameter of 5 mm.

Observe markings.
Drill bore holes (4) for the top tie-down rail (1) in inside part of sidewall.
If the center tie-down rails (2) are attached and the top tie-down rails (1) are also desired.

Drill bore holes (4) with a diameter of 5 mm.

Observe markings.
Deburr bore holes (4, 5) using a suitable tool.
Remove drilling chips.
Apply zinc dust paint around the bore holes (4, 5).
