| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left or right head restraint from front seat. | AR91.16-P-0040ME | |
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect. | ||
| 4 | Expose electrical wiring harness (2) and release from seat backrest (3). | ||
| 5 | Remove right lock (4). | ||
| 6 | Move seat adjustment motor for head restraint adjustment, driver's seat (M27/4) or seat adjustment motor for head restraint adjustment, front passenger seat (M28/4) in direction of arrow and remove. | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
