1 Remove head unit (A26/17). Model 253 (except 253.992/993)

2 Place head unit (A26/17) onto ESD kit and prepare as per instructions on potential equalization. SPECIAL TOOL ESD kit Fig 1
3 Remove screw (2) of head unit hard drive (1).    
4 Slide head unit hard drive (1) in direction of arrow (a) until the position arrows (3, 4) face each other.    
5 Carefully lift and remove head unit hard drive (1).    
INSTALLING Install     
6 Carefully position new head unit hard drive (1) on head unit (A26/17). NOTES
Position head unit hard drive (1) so that the position arrows (3, 4) face each other. Otherwise, the head unit hard drive (1) may be damaged during installation.		  
7 Slide head unit hard drive (1) in direction of arrow (b) until the screw (2) can be positioned NOTES
Make sure that the head unit hard drive (1) is seated correctly.
Otherwise, when sliding in the direction of the arrow (b), the connection contacts may be damaged.		  
8 Screw in bolt (2).    
9 Remove ESD kit.    
10 Install head unit (A26/17). Model 253 (except 253.992/993)
