| Remove | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove grommet (1) and loosen screw (2). | ||
| 3 | Remove lock cylinder of the front door. | When removing door handle (3) from the driver's door. | |
| 4.1 | Pull door handle (3) up to the end stop until it engages. | When removing door handle (3) from the driver's door. |

| 4.2 | Pull door handle (3) up to end stop and remove cover (5). | When removing door handle (3) from the front passenger door. If the door handle (3) does not engage, ↓ insert cover (5) again with pulled door handle (3) and release door handle (3). Then, repeat the operation step. |

| 5 | Guide door handle (3) out of the retainer (6) at the rear and pull out at the front. | ||

| 6 | Insert door handle (3) into retainer (6) at the rear and install at the front. | Ensure correct seating of the door handle (3) in the retainer (6). | |
| 7.1 | Install lock cylinder of the front door. | When installing the door handle (3) in the driver's door. | |
| 7.2 | Install cover (5). | When installing the door handle (3) in the front passenger door. | |
| 8 | Tighten the screw (2) and install the grommet (1). |
