| 1 | Perform commissioning of HERMES control unit (N112/9). | If the HERMES control unit (N112/9) has been replaced. | |

| 2 | Remove floor covering at front on front passenger side. | AR68.80-P-0008ME | |
| 3 | Remove air ducts (1). | ||
| 4 | Remove lower B-pillar trim. | AR68.30-P-4700ME | |
| 5 | Fold over floor covering (2). | ||
| 6 | Unclip expansion rivets (3). | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Remove air duct (4). | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nuts (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove the cover (6). | ||
| 10 | Lift up air duct (7) carefully and unscrew nuts (8). | ||
| 11 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from HERMES control unit (N112/9). | ||
| 12 | Remove HERMES control unit (N112/9) with bracket (9). | ||
| 13 | Remove screw (10) and remove HERMES control unit (N112/9) from bracket (9). | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order. |
