| 1 | Remove rear seat. | Model 167.9 with code 226 (7-seater with 3rd seat row) except code M036 (Maybach version) |

| 2 | Unclip and remove trim (1). | Fig 2 | |
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2). | ||
| 4 | Release rear seat control unit (N32/5, N32/6) at front left and right from holder (3) (arrows A) and simultaneously lift at front (arrow B). | ||
| 5 | Take rear seat control unit (N32/5, N32/6) forward out of holder (3). | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 7 | Commission rear seat control unit (N32/5, N32/6). | ||
