| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove steering column tube module control unit (N80). | AR54.25-P-2802ME | |
| 2 | Unclip covers (5) at the side from instrument panel and remove. | ||
| 3.1 | Unclip left trim piece (2) and right trim piece (3). | Model 167 except code 876 (Interior Light package) | |
| 3.2 | Unclip left trim piece (2) and right trim piece (3) until the electrical connectors are accessible. | Model 167 with code 876 (Interior Light package) Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors at left trim piece (2) and right trim piece (3). | Model 167 with code 876 (Interior Light package) |

| 5 | Remove boot (4). | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector from start/stop button (S2/2). | ||
| 7 | Remove start/stop button (S2/2) at retaining tabs (1) and remove toward rear. | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
