- Remove screw/bolts (2)

- Unclip engine wiring harness and electric line of left lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/3) at heat shield (1) and place to one side.
- Remove heat shield (1) upwards.
- Check elastomer bearings of heat shield (1) for damage.
If a problem arises

Replace elastomer bearing.
- Install in the reverse order.
