	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove engine with front axle carrier.	Engine 177 in model 167	AR01.10-P-2500MNP
		Engine 176 in model 167	AR01.10-P-2500MNO
2	Release and disconnect right lambda sensor electrical connector upstream of the catalytic converter (G3/4).		AR07.04-P-0083MNO
3	Unclip electrical connector of the right lambda sensor downstream of the catalytic converter (G3/6) and release and disconnect.		AR07.04-P-0084MNO
4	Remove lines of the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor from the catalytic converter (1).	Engine 177 in model 167 with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (GPF) with sensor system)	AR49.20-P-3020MSC
5	Open clamp (2) and release catalytic converter (1) from exhaust gas turbocharger (3).	Replace clamp (2).

6	Remove screws (4).	M6X1	*BA00.10-P-1002-04A
7	Remove the heat shield (5).
8	Loosen screws (6) until the bracket (7) can be moved.	M6X1	*BA00.10-P-1002-04A
9	Lift bracket (7) and push toward the rear.	The bores of the bracket (7) are slotted.
10	Remove screws (8).	Engine 176 in model 167Bolt, holder for catalytic converter to transmission catalytic converter/holder	*BA49.10-P-1004-02W

11	Unscrew screws (9) and remove holder (10).	Engine 177 in model 167Bolt, butterfly bracket to bracket	*BA49.10-P-1002-02E

12	Unscrew screws (11) from bracket (12) and remove catalytic converter (1).	Engine 177 in model 167Bolt, exhaust system bracket to transmission	*BA49.10-P-1009-02E
		Engine 176 in model 167Bolt, holder for catalytic converter to transmission catalytic converter/holder	*BA49.10-P-1004-02W
13	Remove seal (14).	Engine 177.9 in model 167as of modification year 21/1 Replace seal (14).
14	Install in the reverse order.
15	Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system and correct if necessary.
