Remove/Install Front Passenger Door Lower Hinge- AR72.10-P-0004ME

	Remove
1	Detach front floor covering on front passenger side until fuse box (5) is accessible.		AR68.80-P-0008ME
2	Unclip fuse box (5) and place to one side until nuts (3) are accessible.	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
3	Mark installation position of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2) using suitable means.	Lower hinge consists of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2).
4	Support front passenger door with suitable means and fix in place.	The front passenger door must be supported and fixed in place. The front passenger door could otherwise be damaged.
5	Remove nuts (3).	If necessary, push the damping (4) to the side.
6	Remove screws (2) and remove hinge leaf (1.1) with hinge support (1.2).
	Install
7	Clean contact surfaces in area of hinge supports.	Cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1025-04A
8	Align hinge leaf (1.1) using the markings made previously and tighten screws (2) lightly by hand.
9	Align hinge support (1.2) by means of the previously applied markings and slightly tighten nuts (3) by hand.	Helper required.
10	Close front passenger door and open.	The installation position of the passenger door may change later due to opening and closing.
	Check
11	Check gap dimensions on front passenger door, adjust if necessary.		AR72.10-P-0550ME
12	Tighten screws (2) and nuts (3).	Screw/bolt, hinge to front door	*BA72.10-P-1002-01O

14	Protect front passenger door and A-pillar in area of hinge leaf (1.1) and hinge support (1.2) against corrosion; remove excessive wax.	Wax for engine compartment (400 ml spray can)	*BR00.45-Z-1018-05A
15	Install fuse box (5).	Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
16	Install front floor covering on front passenger side.		AR68.80-P-0008ME
