Remove/Install Circulation Pumps For Low Temperature Circuit - AR09.41-P-6927MNP

WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of injury.  Skin or eye injuries may result when handling hot or glowing objects. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary. AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

  Drain off     
1 Drain the coolant from the low-temperature circuit.   AR09.41-P-6834MNP 
  Remove low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6)     
2 Remove nuts (3) and remove coolant lines from the strut (6). TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1 *BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
3 Remove nuts (4). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut/screw, lower crossmember to radiator unit mounting support *BA62.30-P-1006-02I 
4 Remove screws (5) and remove strut (6). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut/screw, lower crossmember to radiator unit mounting support *BA62.30-P-1006-02I 
5 Release and disconnect electrical connector (8).    
6 Remove the coolant hoses (7) from circulation pump 1 for the low-temperature circuit (M43/6). IMPORTANT Capture escaping coolant using suitable means. AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
7 Set lock (9) and remove low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6) with the holder (10).    
8 Remove low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6) from the holder. When replacing low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6).
TORQUE SPECIFICATION M6x1
*BA00.10-P-1002-04A 
9 Install in the reverse order.    
  Remove circulation pump (M13)/coolant circulation pump (M13/5)     
10 Remove front section of the front right fender liner.   AR88.10-P-1301ME
11 Release and disconnect electrical connector (11)/electrical connector (12).    
12 Release and disconnect coolant hoses (13)/coolant hoses (14). IMPORTANT Capture escaping coolant using suitable means. AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
13 Remove nut (15)/nut (16), open holder and remove circulation pump (M13)/coolant circulation pump (M13/5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut/screw, low-temperature circuit pump/switchover valve retaining bracket to holder *BA20.10-P-1007-01ZA 
14 Install in the reverse order.    
  Pour in     
15 Fill the low-temperature circuit with coolant.   AR09.41-P-6834MNP 
INSPECT Check     
WARNING Risk of burn injuries,  suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
16 Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.
