REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove detachable parts in area of repair point.    
2 Cover all detachable parts remaining in vehicle with spark protection blankets.    
3 Remove center roof paneling. Model 167.1
except code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)
 
      AR65.10-P-1000ME 
4 Remove roof frame (1).   AR65.20-P-1006-02ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
5 Remove mounting supports (2).   AR65.20-P-1006-10ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
INSTALLING Install     
DANGER The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion  from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury  from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning  from inhaling welding gases Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system. AS00.00-Z-0007-01A

  General information on riveting   AH60.00-P-0003-01N
6 Prepare roof frame (1).   AR65.20-P-1006-04ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
7 Prepare mounting supports (2).   AR65.20-P-1006-11ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
8 Install mounting supports (2).   AR65.20-P-1006-12ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
    Blind rivet Y2 6.5X12.5 (clamping range 2 mn to 5 mm, draw-off strength min. 19 kN) *BR00.45-Z-1012-13A 
9 Install roof frame (1).   AR65.20-P-1006-05ME 
    1K-zinc dust paint *BR00.45-Z-1056-07A 
    Blind rivet Y2 6.5X12.5 (clamping range 2 mm to 5 mm, draw-off strength min. 19 kN) *BR00.45-Z-1012-13A 
10 Clean weld joints and sheet metal flange.    
11 Clean repair area.    
12 Install center roof paneling. Model 167.1
except code 413 (Panoramic sliding sunroof/glass roof)

13 Remove spark protection blankets.    
14 Reinstall detachable parts in area of repair point.
