| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove bottom liftgate trim. | AR72.20-P-6617ME | |
| 3 | Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect. | ||
| 4 | Mark position of the bolt heads. | ||
| 5 | Unscrew bolts (2). | ||

| 6 | Remove liftgate central locking motor (M14/7) until the cable (3) can be unhooked. | ||
| 7 | Remove liftgate central locking motor (M14/7). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
