	Remove
1	Remove door sill at front left.
			AR68.30-P-4100ME
2	Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

3	Remove A-pillar trim on driver's side.

4	Remove upper B-pillar trim on driver's side and place it to one side with the seat belt attached.

5	Release fuse and relay module on driver's side.

6	Remove covers over mounting eyes for driver's side partitioning net.	Model 167.3 with code U40 (Safety net for load compartment cover) Long wedge	Fig 1
7	Remove overhead control panel control unit.

	Install
8	Retrofit front dashcam mount.	When pressing on, ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive point. The maximum adhesive strength is only reached after approx. 72 h at 20°C. During the first hour avoid the application of any mechanical load. Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.	AZ54.71-P-0001-00LWE

9	Remove cover for rain and light sensor.

10	Remove both sun visors.

11	Remove front edge guard on driver's side in area of roof lining.
12	Release roof lining at front on driver's side.
	Install
13	Retrofit wiring harness for dashcam.		AZ54.71-P-0002-01ME

14	Latch dashcam at front (1) into dashcam mount opposite direction of arrow on eject button.	Mount dashcam at front (1) at the earliest one hour after gluing on the dashcam mount. Otherwise, the dashcam mount may work its way loose.

16	Install remaining parts.
	Update Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc)
17	Attach "Mercedes-Benz dashcam retrofitted at front as per AZ54.71-P-0002MEC" note under field organization texts to design group 54, design group 67 and design group 68.

18	Perform function test.	See Owner's Manual.
