Model 167.3 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Grind mating surface on rear lamp reinforcement (2) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched area.

2. Grind mating surfaces on connecting panel (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Grind down spot weld flanges and area for plug weld down to bare metal on both sides.

3. Remove grinding dust.
4. Apply zinc dust paint to the insides of the spot weld flange.
